The university student representation(Hochschulvertretung or Universitätsvertretung, HV or UV) determines the strategic direction of the HTU and represents all students of TU Graz at the highest level of the university. It issues statements on draft laws and regulations and is responsible for allocating the HTU budget to all levels of representation and the departments. You can vote for the composition of the university student representation every two years in the ÖH elections. Various lists compete for a total of 17 mandates (list voting). The mandataries of the university student representation elect the chair team from among their members.

Meetings of the university representatives are held twice a semester. These are open to the public and you can come along and listen to the reports and decisions that are made.
