Department for Society, Innovation and Sustainability

The previous Department for Societal Policy (Gesellschaftspolitik, Gespol) was renamed the Department for Society, Innovation and Sustainability (Gesellschaft, Innovation und Nachhaltigkeit, GIN) in June 2018. The focus of this department is clearly on sustainability, which is becoming increasingly important in our society. Workshops, discussion evenings, free bike checks and sports courses are just some of the events organized by this department.
