The schedule of the bachelor’s program does impose of a thesis written in the 6th semester with the scope of 7 ECTS.

During master’s program there is a mandatory construction exercise with 8 ECTS. 

The master’s thesis itself consists of 30 ECTS.

It is not obligatory to choose among free thesis vacancies. It is also possible to contact a research group on one of the institutes of Chemical and Process Engineering upon interest.

Here are the institutes of the research groups of Chemical and Process Engineering stated:

• Institute of Bioproducts and Paper Technology
• Institute of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Technology
• Institute of Process and Particle Engineering

On the 19th of November 2024 , the Chemical and Process Engineering Study Representation organised an information event. The main topics discussed were the completion of the Bachelor's programme, the structure of the Master's programme, various opportunities to study abroad and free Bachelor's thesis topics at the chemical and process engineering institutes.
