The following forms must be completed in full and submitted in order to receive a tuition waiver. Please determine the dates of your activities on your own; if in doubt, ask your supervisor (student representatives unit chair, department head, lab director, etc.).

We will fill in the calculations for the extension semesters. Please leave the signature field on the SB9 form blank!

• Tuition fees may be waived up to four times for the entire course of study. The TU does not consider bachelor’s and master’s degrees to be separate programs.
• On the TU application, the first checkbox (§ 36 (5)) must be checked.
• Semesters are always calculated as a whole (October–February, March–September) or at least October–January or March–June. Half-semesters cannot be credited.
• Semesters are always recognized retroactively. Current semesters cannot be credited, not even for reimbursement after the semester.
• If you accumulate a total of 0.5 tolerance semesters, this can already be rounded up to a full semester. For the second tolerance semester, however, an additional full semester must be accumulated (for a total of 1.5), and so on.
