Dear student representatives, student councils, and Basisgruppen in the field of physics across Austria,

in connection with this year’s ÖPG conference in Graz, we’d like to take this opportunity—after more than seven years—to host a ZÖPV here in Graz once again. We’d like to ask you to register for this event.

What’s the plan?

• Exchange between all student representatives in physics across Austria to learn from others and share your own knowledge.
• Present your own organizational structure in a relaxed setting—structure of the student representative, organizing events, orientation for new students, and much more.
• Discussions and updates regarding IAPS (International Association of Physics Students)
• Addressing current issues in teaching and getting solutions to similar problems from other student councils (BiPol and other topics).
• Have the chance to chat in a relaxed atmosphere.

The ÖPG Conference (Austrian Physical Society) will take place this year in Graz from September 20–25 (https://oepg-cmd-jointmeeting2026.uni-graz.at/de/). We would like to schedule our ZÖPV immediately after this, from September 25–27.

We still have a number of organizational and financial details to work out until September, but we are committed to keeping the costs for each participant as low as possible. Nevertheless, if you are interested, please register as soon as possible so that we can plan effectively. Information will be shared with participants as soon as it becomes available.
