Sophie

Hi, I'm Sophie, and I'm the queer advisor of the ÖH Uni-Graz. Before I discovered the teacher training program for myself, I studied biology for a year. Even then, I gave tutoring on the side, and thus realized that I would like to support children and teenagers on their journey. In addition, I teach school workshops of the RosaLila PantherInnen on the subject of love and sexuality in order to ensure more awareness in schools. In my private life, I am quickly interested in many things, and so I am currently learning my fifth language, have discovered knitting for myself in the past years, and have recently become passionate about inline skating. In addition, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and explore new places – whether in books or in real life. As an advisor, I am happy to answer questions about queer topics, the queer departments of the other universities and am always available to you with any concerns.

Kevin

Heyy, I'm Kevin, the representative of diversity of öh joanneum at FH JOANNEUM. After my bachelor's degree, I'm studying Global Strategic Management at the FH. On the side, I am involved in my free time and create awareness for the issues of the LGBTQ+ community. During my bachelor studies I wrote my bachelor thesis about marketing for the LGBTQ+ community. Besides the different topics of the LGBTQ+ community, I am interested in politics. As a speaker at öh joanneum, I am happy to answer all questions and take time for all conversations.

Betty

Hi, my name is Betty. I’m head of the department for queer, women and equalization of the ÖH at the Medical University of Graz. I prefer to not use pronouns for myself but she/her is alright as well. Before I moved to Graz I did my bachelors degree in human biology. I started studying in Graz in October 2020. I’m part of the ÖH and the Queerreferate since 2021.

I love to boulder and dance, especially Contemporary. I love to read when I have time for it. I play the piano and love to go to concerts. Family and friends are very important to me and I try to spend as much time as possible with them.

Equal rights and equal treatment of all people have always been very important to me and that’s what this department is aiming for. If you’ve got questions, ideas for new events or suggestion for improvement, feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
