One of the first projects as open living laboratory was a microscopy day. Our approach starts with examining different subjects in our researcher's garden under microscopic view. Together with biology students from Karl Franzens Universiy of Graz we gathered different plants and insects in the garden and prepared them for our first study. This interdisciplinary group project did not only capture amazing images but also greatly increased our knowledge.
